Raised bed garden soil is a mixture of soil, compost, and other organic materials that is used to create a planting bed that is elevated above the surrounding soil. The soil in a raised bed is typically looser and more fertile than the surrounding soil, and is often amended with additional nutrients to ensure that plants have the proper conditions to thrive.
